| Abstract: | Embryos from immature fruits of female sterile oil paIm (Elaeis guineensis var. pisifera) were cultured in two basal medium viz., Y 1 and R medi um supplemented with Malt Extract or Yeast Extract or Zeatin. The R medium gave good germination wilhout any sUpplementation while Y3 medium with yeast extract gave good germination and Malt Extract was good for formation 01' plantlets. |
