Abstract: Global agribusiness has entered a new phase, in which elements as productivity, sustainability, technology, ethics and responsibility in partnerships play a key role in defining each country’s strategy in terms of food safety and investments. It is within this context that the Secretariat of Agribusiness International Relations of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply of Brazil launches this Guide, with a brief overview on some examples of structured transactions already in use by companies engaged in financing the agricultural sector. Other operations can be developed according to specific situations. By this publication, the Secretariat hopes to bring useful information and awaken entrepreneurial initiatives.
